ABOUT THE POSITION

Our Designer Sales Consultants are critical to our success! As Consultants, they connect our products with our customers by creating positive, helpful customer experiences. They are engaging, warm, friendly, and have a great sense of humor. The primary responsibility of the Designer Sales Consultant is to provide the highest level of customer service by always striving to improve the customer experience. This is demonstrated by providing expert product knowledge in the showroom, offering expert solutions through website inquiries, and offering thoughtful interior design solutions both in-store and in residential homes.

ABOUT YOU

You are looking for a part-time or full-time position where you can have an immediate impact both with our customers as well as within our team! You are passionate about interior design and love to work with people. You are a problem-solver and well-organized. You are comfortable working independently but are great at collaborating and taking direction. You are a pro at having a sense for putting together great rooms and can communicate this passionately to EWF Modern clients. You are interested in learning the business every day through assisting with all aspects of sales support to post-sale client care.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Proven background in retail selling and interior design

• Ability to manage multiple shifting and competing projects, deadlines, and priorities

• Eye for design – scale, color, modern furniture product knowledge

• Flexible schedule to include 1 weekend day and some holidays

• Perform additional duties as necessary and/or is requested by the company

SALES + STORE OPERATIONS

Sell mid- to-high-end furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories to customers

• Maintain in-depth knowledge about our products

• Create client design packages to include presentation and floor plans

• Assist with floor merchandising

• Assist with updating fabric library

• Contact new business for interior design development

• Responsible for opening and closing procedures

• Assist with shared daily housekeeping tasks

JOB DETAILS

• 26-32 hours per week

• Flexible schedule to include 1 weekend day and some holidays

• Moderate physical activity required. Must be able to lift 20-40lbs.

• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time.
